Jeff Cavins
Jeff Cavins is an internationally recognized speaker who has a deep love for Jesus Christ and communicates his zeal with clarity and enthusiasm. After 12 years as a Protestant pastor, Jeff returned to the Catholic Church under the guidance of Bishop Paul Dudley.
Jeff received his MA in Theology with Catechetical Certification from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Prior to receiving his MA, Jeff had graduated with honors from Antioch University with a BA in Humanities, and received Bible training at the Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX and the Institute of Ministry in Bradenton, FL. He also graduated from the Brown Institute in Minneapolis, MN, a school for radio and TV broadcasting.
Jeff edited and wrote the Catholic Scripture Study with Dr. Scott Hahn, Mark Shea, and other Catholic theologians. For six years, he produced and hosted the EWTN young adult talk show "Life on the Rock," as well as substituting for Mother Angelica when she was unable to appear on-air, and he continues to appear on EWTN occasionally. More recently, Jeff has been employed by Relevant RadioTM, hosting a nationally broadcast, live, drive-time show called Morning AirTM. He is currently the Adult Faith Formation Minister at the Church of St. Paul in Ham Lake, MN.
